People are just lots of humans going about their (often boring) daily business, all seeking something: more money, more friends, less friends, a lover, the latest fashion, the cheapest fashion, the latest technology, peace & quiet, a better job, or just some form of safety.

In Maslow's hierarchy of needs Safety comes at the second highest priority (above basic biological needs like breathing and eating). Safety means protecting yourself from harm but also knowing if anyone could be stalking you online.


Out of this basic need came the Tripwire project to see if it's possible to know who could be searching for who online, and in what context. The project is still in it's very early stages.
